Firestone Complete Auto Care Social Media

Firestone Complete Auto Care approached Confidant to help uplevel their social strategy and design across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. We were tasked with creating multiple series of content that felt repeatable, educational, authentic to the brand, and engaging to consumers. Working with a brand that is a household name, and most people have had brought their car to at some point presented a unique challenge: how do we make our content engaging, and a net-positive experience? How do we bring humanity to a forum where viewers are quick to flood the comments their experiences or perceptions of the brand, positive or negative?

Working in tandem with strategy and post ideation from Taylor Johnson and Paige Teachey, we began creating multiple series that humanized Firestone, in buckets such as Dogs of Firestone (a series showing off some cute pooches, and even some adoptable ones from Nashville Humane!), Car Concerts (a series highlighting small and local musicians jamming out in their car), and Get to Know the Crew (an interview series with techs around the country).

My role: ongoing social support weekly as the sole designer of all of the thumbnails, static posts, and video graphics that you’d see on any of Firestone’s socials, with feedback from my creative directors. I’ve also worked closely with our post production crew to provide art direction for video animation.
